    Job Title: Head – Construction Technology
    Locations: Mumbai
    Company Description: - Our Client is a giant in construction Industry, is looking out for Head – Construction Technology to be based at Mumbai.
    Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) preferably from a premier institute
    Preferred Age Group: -
    Job Description: - Experience:

    - Should have varied experience of at least 15-20 years in managing engineering, design, technology and project management related functions of large engineering/ construction company; with at least last 5 years as head of Technical or engineering function. Should have demonstrated capabilities of professional and technical excellence, decision making & influencing and networking

    - Preferred Requirements:

    - Masters in Engineering/technology/strategic management/international management

    - Personal Requirements

    - Excellent oral and written communication and inter-personal skills

    - Excellent leadership and decision making skills

    - Strong commercial acumen and quantitative analysis skills

    - Curious, disciplined, creative, self starter, independent – minded

    - Conceptually very sound

    - Result-oriented person

    - Ethical and passionate team player

    - Building strong relationship and acting as Team Player with colleagues and subordinates to maximize achievement of objectives on delivery time

    - Punctual to deliver the tasks on time specified

    - Job Description:

    - Adapting New Technologies

    - A technologically current person to act as an internal advisor to regions/project teams on all technical and non-technical aspects project life cycle.

    - His primary responsibility would be contributing to the strategic direction of the company by identifying the role that specific technologies will play in its future growth.

    - He shall look for contributions that technologies can make to the competitive advantage of the company

    - He shall be required to identify, access, and investigate high return technologies possessing potential application within existing businesses or for new businesses”.

    - Persuading and involving business partners for their cost-effective contributions in the technological up-gradation of the processes across the project life cycle

    - Introducing a culture of Innovation:

    - He shall create the Innovation Leadership Team and shall be responsible to identify and evaluate innovations waiting to be turned into organizational benefits

    - To establish a technical vision to complement the business vision, setting the tone and direction for the company’s technologies.

    - He shall serve an important role in inculcating an internal innovative culture. He should initiate activities and policies that create a technology-friendly culture aligned with the company’s business strategy.

    - He shall formulate the practices to attract enhanced innovative contributions and a mechanism to evaluate and implement them appropriately and in a timely manner

    - He must ensure that money and time spent on such innovative projects is aligned with the corporate strategy and has a realistic potential of contributing towards the improvement in operating processes and gaining the company’s competitive advantage in the foreseeable future

    - Mergers and Acquisitions:

    - He may be required to conduct due diligences which would include evaluating patents, reviewing technical publications, and studying trade data to determine the value of the target company and to rank it against its competitors.

    - Marketing and Media Relations

    - He may be required to communicate with the media translating technical competency of the firm into real customer advantages that are superior to those of competitors.
